EBA CLEARING to kick off analytical pilot for pan-European fraud pattern and anomaly detection

EBA CLEARING announced at its Shareholders Meeting in Madrid today that it will kick off the analytical pilot for the pan-European Fraud Pattern and Anomaly Detection (FPAD) functionality in July 2023. The analytical pilot will allow EBA CLEARING to validate and refine the fraud pattern and anomaly detection models with the participants, in anticipation of the launch in November 2023.

RT1 reaches critical mass of Belgian PSPs for instant payments

EBA CLEARING announced today that its RT1 platform has reached critical mass in Belgium for instant payments. The leading pan-European instant payment infrastructure system currently counts six participants based in Belgium: Aion SA, BNP Paribas Fortis, Belfius, CBC Banque, ING Belgium and KBC Bank. Thanks to this coverage, the vast majority of Belgian payment accounts are now reachable for euro instant payments from all across Europe.

STEP2 SCT has seen a new volume record with a total of 32.75 million payments settled on 2nd May 2017, same as STEP2 CC with a total of 18.1 million and SDD B2B with 884,288 transactions settled on the same day.
